The new Garrett Basketball Academy, known as The Engine Room Academy, will return for the 2025-2026 school year after successfully launching in the summer of 2025. The first set of Academy dates for the year will be every Monday and Wednesday in October from 3:30-4:30 at Garrett Middle School.

These academy sessions will delve more in depth with our high school and middle school coaching staff, as well as our varsity players. They are open to Kindergarten-8th grade students.

The academy is designed to focus on the seldom seen work that makes a team run smoothly. Just like the engine room of a train—where all the vital work happens out of sight—this academy is about the foundational skills and hard work that power a player’s growth. It’s the crucial work you don’t always see, but it’s what drives success on the court.
